Number One Priority is an African American Romance. It is the story of Terissa Mills a recently widowed mother of a young son who returns home for the first time in years to find that her favorite aunt has opened up her home and her heart to a mysterious tenant. At first Teri is thrilled that her aunt who is also a widow has found a nice older man to share her life with and cannot wait to meet him. Unfortunately Mr. Ferguson immediately becomes very allusive and Teri is soon convinced that he may be not be the paragon of virtue that everyone who has met him seems to think he is. When a chance meeting puts her directly in his path she finds that not only is he not an older man but he is Teri’s age and the most attractive man she has seen in a very long time. Then, to make matters worse he tells Teri in so uncertain terms that both her aunt and her son have nothing to fear from him; purposely leaving her name out of that equation. Michael Ferguson took one look at Teri and knew that she was going to be trouble. Not only was she very attractive, sexy and smart, but to make matters worse she had an awesome little boy who reminded him of himself at that age.
